About Beakology
I didn’t set out to start a parrot food company. I just wanted to feed my birds better.
Hi, I’m Jennifer, the founder and Certified Avian Specialist behind Beakology.
When I couldn’t find anything on the market made with clean, organic ingredients and designed to support my parrots’ long-term health and well-being, I started making my own.
I set out to create the kind of food I had been looking for with recognizable ingredients, honest labels, and engaging textures without artificial colors, chemical preservatives, added sugars, unnecessary oils, or cheap fillers. Food that supported parrots’ health while respecting their natural instincts and intelligence.
From My Kitchen Counter to Yours
For more than two years, I researched ingredients, developed formulas, and refined every blend—measuring, mixing, observing, and starting over. I watched which ingredients my adorable feathered taste testers explored first, what they left behind, and how color, texture, aroma, and variety affected their interest. Some recipes worked, hundreds didn't.
What started at my kitchen counter has grown into a line of organic, whole-food blends for people who care deeply about what goes into their parrot’s bowl. Every blend reflects that careful research, observation, and hands-on testing... batch by batch and beak by beak.
